Over the past 20 years Kim has worked as a copywriter for a wide range of clients on a variety of projects. Before that, she worked as both a trademark paralegal and a patent prosecution paralegal, and developed an expansive training program in patent prosecution for a large law firm in New York City. At the same time, she wrote two books: a memoir titled Read My Hips that was published by the Random House imprint Three Rivers Press, and Write That Memoir Right Now, part of a how-to series published by Blackstone/AudioGO.
